Director: Imanol Elizasu Lasa

Imanol Elizasu Lasa is a renowned professional in the world of choral music. His long career includes the roles of choir director, pianist and singer. Under the tutelage of Gabriel Baltes, he completed his higher studies in choral conducting at Musikene. He has participated in several international festivals and competitions as a choir director. He has been, among others, to Toulouse, Cantonigros and Manlleu (Catalonia), Torrevieja, Shaoxing (China), Castelnaudary, Dax and Mont De Marsan (France), Llangoll (United Kingdom), Shorndorf and Altensteig (Germany). Choral courses and workshops are often invited by choir federations and education departments.

Imanol has also completed higher studies in piano and chamber music in San Sebastián, under the tutelage of Maruxa Llorente and Cristian Ifrim. He furthered his piano studies with maestro Albert Jiménez Atenelle, with whom he obtained the title of performer from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, with the highest qualification.

In addition, he received vocal technique classes from maestro Juan Eraso. As a bass-baritone soloist, he has given several recitals, including Duo del Valle, Orchester Catalunya Bayonne - Côte Basque, in collaboration with Laetitia Casabianca, Didier Boiture, Valérie Fayet and Michel Sendrez. For eight years he taught vocal technique classes at the Maurice Ravel Conservatory in Baiona.

Body expression and staging: Aitor Gabilondo

Aitor Gabilondo, performance teacher at the Zaria Koru Eskola, was born in 1974. He began his career in the choral world by participating in the Gipuzkoan and European youth choir. He has a degree in Music Teaching and Music Therapy from the UPV. In addition, he studied theater at the TAE in San Sebastián.

Throughout his career, Aitor has played different roles as an actor, screenwriter, director, singer and music teacher. He has worked in different areas, education, television, theater and radio. In addition, he has collaborated in the production of three albums with Juan Mari Beltrán.

At Zaria Koru Eskola, Aitor teaches acting classes and directs scenes, sharing with his students his experience and knowledge in the field of theater and music.
